Shipping and Delivery Information

 

WHATABASKET.CA   provides customers expertly designed gourmet gift baskets, deluxe nut trays, fruit baskets and spa & baby gifts.  Our gifts are either hand delivered by a What A Basket representative or shipped in a gift box. Same day delivery is available on all of our gift items. Select specialty gifts will be shipped in a box and delivered by UPS.

 

Delivery by a Local Sales Associates ®

 

Your order will be sent to a local shop. A gift basket designer will expertly design the gift basket.  A WHAT A BASKET representative will personally deliver the Gifts by hand. Receiving Basket Arrangements personally delivered by one of our representatives provides a truly memorable moment for a special person in your life. Same day delivery is available on gift delivered items. Just place your order before 2:00 p.m. (12:30 p.m. Saturdays and 11:30a.m. Sundays*) in your recipient’s time zone and they will get them the same day!

(Note that same day delivery may not be available during peak holiday times or in adverse weather conditions. Sunday delivery may not be available in all cities)

We can deliver Gourmet Baskets, Spa Gifts, and specialty gifts to almost 100% of Canada 

Delivery Time:


Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of day. In rare cases, the supplier may not have an individual basket type, they may substitute similar-looking items in equal or greater value than what you see in the picture. Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the delivery area. In most areas of Canada, orders placed as late as 2p.m. in the recipient's time zone can be delivered that day (earlier times may apply to some areas and at holidays).
 

Delivery by UPS®


Chocolates, gift baskets, and specialty gifts delivered by UPS® are only available for delivery in Canada. Next Day, Two Day, Standard Delivery (within 4 business days). Perishable items may require Next Day or Two Day Delivery to avoid spoilage. Delivery to hospitals and remote areas may take an additional 3-5 days. Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the delivery area. Shipping address changes will result in a $10.00 charge and order cancellations will result in loss of delivery fee.

Our gifts are either hand arranged and delivered by a sale-associate or shipped in a gift box. A service charge of $14.99 will apply to all types Deliveries*. (* Weekend and holiday charges may apply).

Order and Delivery Confirmation


You can see the status of any current or past orders within your account page, after you have registered on our website. The status of an order varies from being placed, through to allocation and delivery. For courier items, you will be provided with a tracking link once dispatched. For orders delivered locally, orders typically go from allocated, to accepted, to delivered. However, marking the order "delivered" is a manual task and not automatically updated. This status is typically updated at the end of the day. If you suspect that your order may not have been delivered after having checked the order status within your account, please contact one of our advisors via our online chat.
